How to use?
- Step 1 : It is recommended to start with dry skin. While dry exfoliation can be done at any time of day, the best time is before your morning shower to energize you for the day. Alternatively, use it before your evening bath as a calming agent to neutralize the effects of a stressful day full of technology.
- Step 2: Start at your feet and use long, even strokes to brush upwards towards your heart. Be extra careful on sensitive skin or avoid sensitive areas. Spend a little more time on joints, cellulite and any areas where you feel tension or stiffness.
- Step 3: Take a bath or shower. For a more detoxifying experience, soak in a tub and treat yourself to a luxurious bath oil or bath salts. If you prefer to shower, try alternating between hot and cold water (as much as you can handle). This will further boost your immune and lymphatic systems.
- Step 4: Gently pat dry your skin and apply a soothing body oil, which will enhance the effects of the treatments and nourish the skin.
- Step 5: Repeat this daily! You will feel the benefits and visible results of this effective ritual very quickly.
Maintenance instructions
CLEANING
Copper naturally protects against bacteria, so you don’t need to clean your copper body brush as you normally would. If you use it 4-7 days a week, clean it every 3-4 weeks, if you use it less than 3 days a week, then every 4-6 weeks. Remember that when dry brushing, the wooden base should not come into contact with water. This is because water weakens the wood, which can cause it to crack and rot. Fill the bowl with water. The water level should be lower than the length of the bristles, preferably halfway up. Add 3 drops of tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is an essential oil with disinfectant properties. It will help get rid of bacteria on the bristles of the brush. Place the brush in the bowl with the bristles facing down and swirl it around. The movement loosens dead skin cells and dirt that are trapped in the bristles. The swirling of the water also helps to evenly distribute the tea tree oil throughout the bristles. Be careful not to wet the wooden base. After a few minutes, replace the solution with clean water. Rinse the brush in clean water, moving it in the same way as before. If you have an allergy to essential oils, a shampoo or body wash designed for children will be perfect.
DRYING
Place the brush on a dry towel with the bristles facing down. Then blow dry for a few minutes to dry completely.
